Terms of Service — NRO (draft v3, post adversarial review)
Last updated: October 11, 2026
These terms govern use of NRO, provided by MedLei LLC. By creating an account or using NRO for a clinic, that clinic agrees to these terms. The person creating or using the account represents that they have authority to act for the clinic.
Service and pilot
NRO is a supply record and organization tool for dental clinics. It helps record supply needs, orders, deliveries, documents, and related summaries. Pilot participation is free. Any future paid offering will require separate pricing information and acceptance before charges begin.
Clinical responsibility
NRO is not a medical device and does not provide clinical advice. The clinic remains responsible for purchasing, physical supply checks, expiration checks, infection-control practices, and deciding whether a material or instrument is suitable for use.
Records, reminders, and summaries do not guarantee product availability or safety and must not replace professional judgment or required clinical procedures.
AI and record accuracy
AI extraction can be incomplete or incorrect. Users must review and correct extracted information before confirming it. Extracted information is held as needing review, and orders, receiving records, and the supply list change only when a person confirms it. The clinic remains responsible for comparing records with source documents, product labels, and actual deliveries.
Summaries and insights in NRO are generated from the clinic's own recorded activity. They reflect the records available and may be incomplete when records are missing.
Accounts and clinic data
The clinic is responsible for the accuracy of account information, safeguarding credentials, and permitting access only to authorized users. Suspected misuse should be reported promptly to support@usenro.com.
The clinic retains its rights in the data it submits and authorizes MedLei LLC and its service providers to process that data as necessary to provide NRO, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If MedLei LLC becomes aware of a security incident affecting a clinic's data, we will notify the clinic's account contact without unreasonable delay.
Acceptable use
Users must have the right to submit the information they provide. Users may not attempt to access another clinic's records, bypass security controls, upload malicious content, disrupt the service, or use NRO unlawfully.
No patient information
NRO is a supply-tracking tool. It is designed for photographs of supplies, packing slips, supplier invoices, and similar business paperwork only. Do not photograph, upload, or enter any patient information — including patient names, images of patients, treatment records, charts, or appointment details — or any other protected health information. Each clinic is responsible for what its staff photograph and upload, and for complying with this rule. MedLei LLC is not responsible for a clinic's placement of patient information in NRO in violation of this rule. When we become aware of patient information in NRO, we will remove it and work with the clinic to delete it.
The NRO software
NRO, including its software, interface, documentation, and trademarks, belongs to MedLei LLC. Clinics may use NRO for their own internal clinic operations while their account is active. Clinics may not resell NRO or offer it to third parties as their own service.
Availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by law, NRO is provided as available and without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free extraction, or fitness for a particular purpose. Pilot features may change. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
Limits of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MedLei LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of NRO. MedLei LLC's total aggregate liability to a clinic arising from the service is limited to the greater of the fees paid by the clinic for NRO during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US$100).
These limitations apply only where lawful and do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Clinic responsibility for its content
The clinic will cover MedLei LLC against third-party claims, and reasonable costs arising from them, that result from the clinic's content or the clinic's violation of these terms — including patient information placed in NRO in violation of the No patient information section.
Changes and termination
MedLei LLC may update these terms or modify the service. Material changes will be communicated by email to the account's email address or by a notice in the service. Access may be suspended or ended for misuse, security reasons, or discontinuation of the pilot. Suspension does not prevent a clinic from requesting an export of its data through support.
A clinic may stop using NRO at any time and may request data export or deletion through support. When a clinic closes its account, the clinic's records are retained for 30 days after the closure in case an export is needed, and are then deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy. If an export request is pending at the end of that period, deletion happens after the export is completed. Before deletion, the clinic may request an export or ask to restore the account. Any retention required by law or applicable provider retention cycles is addressed in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without overriding rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Sections covering clinic data, limits of liability, clinic responsibility for its content, and governing law survive termination. These terms and the Privacy Policy together govern the clinic's use of NRO; if they conflict on a data-handling question, the Privacy Policy governs that question.
